BlockBeats News: On April 22, according to Fortune magazine, documents from the Federal Election Commission show that US President Donald Trump held the most luxurious inauguration event in history due to receiving a record breaking $239 million in donations from corporate supporters and executives. A significant portion of the funding comes from the cryptocurrency industry, which has been one of Trump's most active supporters: cryptocurrency companies and their executives donated $18 million to the inauguration ceremony of the 47th President of the United States. Among all donors, Ripple Labs has the highest donation amount, reaching nearly $4.9 million, ranking second. Ripple has been in a long-term lawsuit with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Pilgrim's, one of the world's largest poultry producers, topped the list with a donation of $5 million. Online brokerage Robinhood, which generates a significant portion of its revenue from cryptocurrency trading, donated $2 million. Other major donors include some top companies in the industry, such as trading platforms Coinbase, Kraken, and (Crypto.com); Stablecoin issuer Circle (recently applied for listing); And Paradigm, a venture capital giant whose asset management scale is approaching a historical high in 2024, both donated $1 million.
