Today, I was honoured to welcome PM @AnwarIbrahim of Malaysia on a working visit to Thailand. Together, we witnessed an exchange of the Construction Agreement for the Second Kolok Bridge — an enduring symbol of the close and longstanding friendship between our two nations. We also had fruitful discussions on key areas of cooperation such as energy security and combatting of online scam. As close neighbours, PM Anwar and I reaffirmed our shared commitment to promoting sustainable peace and inclusive socio-economic development, particularly in the Southern Border Provinces of Thailand and Northern Malaysia, for the prosperity and wellbeing of our peoples. We also exchanged views on the situation in Myanmar, international trade environment , and the importance of strengthening ASEAN’s unity and economic cooperation in the face of global uncertainties to jointly address the issues most effectively. วันนี้ดิฉันรู้สึกเป็นเกียรติอย่างยิ่งที่ได้ต้อนรับท่านนายกรัฐมนตรี @AnwarIbrahim ของมาเลเซียในการเยือนประเทศไทย ในโอกาสนี้ เราทั้งสองได้เป็นสักขีพยานในการแลกเปลี่ยนความตกลงการก่อสร้างสะพานคู่ขนานข้ามแม่น้ำโก-ลก ซึ่งเป็นสัญลักษณ์แห่งมิตรภาพที่มั่นคงและยาวนานระหว่างไทยและมาเลเซีย เรายังได้หารือกันในประเด็นความร่วมมือสำคัญต่าง ๆ เช่น ความมั่นคงทางด้านพลังงาน และการปราบปรามการหลอกลวงออนไลน์ เป็นต้น ในฐานะเพื่อนบ้านที่ใกล้ชิด ดิฉันและท่านนายกฯ อันวาร์ได้ย้ำในเจตนารมณ์ที่จะเสริมสร้างสันติสุขที่ยั่งยืนและการพัฒนาเศรษฐกิจและสังคมอย่างครอบคลุม โดยเฉพาะในพื้นที่จังหวัดชายแดนภาคใต้ของไทยและตอนเหนือของมาเลเซีย เพื่อความเป็นดีอยู่ดีและความเจริญรุ่งเรืองของประชาชนทั้งสองประเทศ นอกจากนี้ เราทั้งสองยังได้แลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็นเกี่ยวกับสถานการณ์ในเมียนมา สภาวะการค้าระหว่างประเทศ และการเสริมสร้างเอกภาพของอาเซียนและความร่วมมือทางเศรษฐกิจของภูมิภาคให้เข้มแข็ง ท่ามกลางสถานการณ์โลกที่เต็มไปด้วยความไม่แน่นอนเพื่อหาทางรับมือร่วมกันให้ได้ประสิทธิผลสูงสุด
