In my opinion one of the biggest causes for poor ETH performance was EigenLayer stakedrop. Restaking was supposed to a big narrative, making holding ETH and staking it a good passive income. By being greedy, EigenLayer team not only killed this narrative but lost the respect of the community as well. Should be a good lesson for future launches.
