AI will be extremely deflationary for software. 1/ Software companies have fat margins 2/ AI allows software to be created at a fraction of the cost 3/ Short-term: margins get even fatter as software companies adopt AI 4/ Mid-term: disruptors come in and offer the same product (ish) at >90% lower cost 5/ Long-term: software becomes radically cheaper across the board What's wrong with the above?
