The Blockchain Group, a French technology consulting firm, announced the purchase of 580 bitcoins at a price of approximately 81550 euros (approximately 87874 US dollars) each, making it the company's largest bitcoin acquisition to date. This purchase was completed through its subsidiary, The Blockchain Group Luxembourg SA, with funding sourced from the convertible bond issuance proceeds released on March 6th. After this transaction, the company's total Bitcoin holdings reached 620, valued at over $54.2 million at current market prices, making it the 28th largest corporate Bitcoin holder in the world.
