BlockBeats reported that on March 13, Cointelgraph reported that Türkiye was promoting the regulation of cryptocurrency and formulating new regulations for crypto asset service providers (CASPs).
On March 13, Türkiye's Capital Market Committee (CMB) released two regulatory documents on the licensing and operation of CASP, covering crypto trading platforms, custodians and wallet service providers.
This regulatory framework grants CMB comprehensive regulatory authority over encryption platforms to ensure their compliance with domestic and international standards.
In addition, the framework also sets standards and requirements for establishing and providing crypto asset services in Türkiye, including registered capital, management background, shareholder rules, etc.
