Huawei's Yang Chaobin: The traffic brought by domestic AI big model tokens has increased 33 times in the past 8 months

Huawei director and ICT BG CEO Yang Chaobin stated that in the past 8 months, the traffic generated by AI tokens in the Chinese market has increased 33 times, with 15 times coming from paid tokens. Since DeepSeek was released, the price per token in the Chinese market has decreased by 97%. It is expected that by 2030, the increase in network traffic brought by tokens in the Chinese market will reach around 500TB per day, while the total mobile network traffic in China now adds up to 90TB per day.
