Google is exploring the use of the 'Google Login' feature to log in to Bitcoin wallets

According to Crypto Briefing, Kyle Song, Web3 expert for Google Cloud Asia Pacific, revealed in a speech at the Hong Kong Bitcoin Technology Carnival that Google is committed to making Bitcoin Wallet as user-friendly as Web2 applications. Google's vision is to enable users to log in to Bitcoin Wallet using their existing Google account, with the aim of bringing Bitcoin closer to mainstream users. Song stated that the launch of spot Bitcoin ETFs in 2024 has opened up a more convenient path for large Web2 companies such as Google to enter the Bitcoin industry. Since last year, this tech giant has been collaborating with companies and developers in the Bitcoin field. Song said, "We are exploring ways to lower the entry barrier so that Web2 users can easily use Bitcoin." When it comes to bridging the technological gap between traditional finance and blockchain based finance, Song pointed out that Google is focusing on improving security. Song said, "We are still researching solutions to address the trust issue between on chain and off chain systems. Google is particularly considering how to use advanced encryption technologies such as zero knowledge proof (ZKP) to improve reliability
