Sahara launches the SIWA testnet: the first publicly available on-chain data ownership verification system
May 19, 2025, Los Angeles time—Sahara AI officially launches its public test network SIWA, opening up channels for AI creation, collaboration, and monetization for all chain developers. SIWA is the first public entry point of the Sahara blockchain, serving as underlying infrastructure, with its core function being to provide verifiable ownership, permission management, and on-chain monetization capabilities for AI assets such as datasets and models, establishing trustworthy and traceable AI collaboration standards.
During the private testing phase, Sahara AI has achieved significant growth: the total number of accounts has surpassed 3.2 million, with daily active accounts exceeding 1.4 million, and over 200,000 users have participated in data labeling tasks.
The first phase of the SIWA public test focuses on "decentralized data ownership verification," allowing users to register their own datasets on-chain and mint data ownership certificates, giving them traceable, quantifiable, and profit-sharing asset attributes, thus changing the traditional situation where data relied upon by AI is implicitly exploited and lacks pricing rights.

The data service platform will begin public testing on May 27, which is an innovative service utilizing distributed contributors for large-scale data collection and annotation. The platform offers decentralized auditing, incentive distribution, and quality control mechanisms, with the first season passing 289,000 data points with an accuracy rate of 92%, and the second season surpassing 2.55 million data points with an accuracy rate rising to 95%.
