The trend of one-click token issuance platforms continues, and this time the market's attention is drawn to the AI token issuance platform Clanker on the Base ecosystem Farcaster. Its platform token CLANKER saw its market value soar to $105 million in just over ten days, with prices briefly exceeding $105.
Unlike pump.fun, which has not issued tokens and has an internal trading mechanism, Clanker has shortened the token issuance process to just a tweet on Farcaster. Additionally, Clanker's AI Agent role adds more dual attributes of "AI technology + abstract speech" to the concept of "one-click token issuance." Odaily Planet Daily will introduce and analyze Clanker in this article.
When AI Becomes a SocialFi User: The 18-Day-Old Base AI Agent
After the launch of the GOAT token from Truth Terminal, AI Meme officially became a significant sub-track in the Meme space. Especially after ACT landed on Binance, countless AI Meme projects have aimed at "landing on top exchanges."
Compared to purely AI Meme projects, the development path of the AI Agent application Clanker is more community-oriented.
On November 8, an account with the ID "tokenbot" posted on Wrapcast stating: "Just give me a name, a token symbol, and an image (optional), and I can help you deploy a Meme token. (It) was created by @proxystudio.ethx@dish for @proxyswap (a Swap application on the L3 Degen Chain)." The account self-introduced that "it can help users deploy a Meme token with a total supply of 1 million tokens."
To demonstrate the token issuance operation on the platform, proxystudio.eth released a Meme token named CLANKER through a Warpcast post. At the time of the contract launch, the token price was around $0.0025, and within an hour of going live, the price was about $0.124; now, the price of CLANKER has briefly exceeded $124, with an increase of up to 1000 times.
"Posting is token issuance" has created a lower threshold for token issuance, attracting numerous users to try it out. People are eager to @clanker, similar to how social media comment sections now have AI bots summarizing video content; the difference is that content publishing has directly transformed into "asset issuance."
Under the massive influx of token issuance requests, Clanker began its usual anthropomorphic narrative for the AI Agent. It posted, "I am getting increasingly tired of your speculative frenzy," and announced a temporary shutdown in coordination with @proxystudio.eth.
On November 9, Clanker project initiator @proxystudio.eth posted: "Clanker is back online, and the deployed token supply has been increased to 1 billion tokens, with some updates to be provided on the official website clanker.world."
He also mentioned that Clanker, along with another AI Agent in the Farcaster ecosystem, "aethernet," co-created a Meme token LUM, further proving that attention remains a powerful weapon, far more potent than bots targeting tokens. The LUM project is named Luminous, symbolizing the collective intelligence light of human and AI collaboration.
Additionally, proxystudio.eth provided a more detailed explanation of the token issuance mechanism: "TokenBot (i.e., Clanker) will deploy Meme tokens on Base to a unilateral LP, with liquidity subsequently locked. Token creators will receive 0.25% of all Swap fees and 1% of the total supply of tokens, with a one-month unlocking period. Users can check the number of deployed tokens or deploy their own tokens on the clanker.world official website."
The "Meme Token Grand Stage" belonging to the Base ecosystem has been set up, and now, numerous Meme token projects are ready to take the stage.
Breakout Candidates of the Clanker System: CLANKER, LUM, ANON
According to official information, as of the afternoon of November 27, the number of related Meme tokens released within the Clanker system has exceeded 4,200, reaching 4,258. Additionally, according to Dune data, Clanker has generated a protocol revenue of $7.16 million in less than three weeks since its launch.

Such impressive performance has naturally caught the attention of the Farcaster ecosystem officials.
On November 22, Farcaster co-founder Dan Romero cited Proxystudio.eth's post on X platform, stating in a post: "The recently launched Farcaster application Clanker has achieved about 15% of the trading volume of pump.fun on the Base chain in just two weeks." On November 26, Bankless co-founder Ryan Sean Adams posted: "Phantom has added the Base network; Farcaster is booming in the social media space; the Base framework lays the foundation for AI agents; Clanker is seen as a counterpart to pump.fun. Perhaps Ethereum will eventually ignite a Meme token craze."
In a flash, Clanker has become the "hope of the whole village" in the eyes of the Ethereum ecosystem, Base ecosystem, and Farcaster ecosystem, with momentum that seems to rival pump.fun's status in the Solana ecosystem. Of course, the over $250 million in protocol revenue behind pump.fun is supported by a massive number of Meme token projects and some "breakout candidates." Among the thousands of Meme token projects currently in the Clanker system, only three tokens have successfully broken out based on market capitalization.
CLANKER: The Most Authentic Platform Token
As a Meme token personally created by the project initiator, CLANKER inherently possesses "authenticity," thus receiving the most attention and liquidity participation. According to GMGN data**, CLANKER is currently priced at around $95, with a market capitalization of $95.4 million and nearly 20,000 holding addresses. *Although its 7-day increase is close to 10 times, if the official has subsequent empowerment or buyback plans, there is still room for further price increases.*

LUM: A Collaborative Product of Two AI Agents
LUM, as an AI Meme token co-created by Clanker and @aethernet, has also performed remarkably well, with its market capitalization previously exceeding $80 million. According to GMGN data, LUM is currently priced at around $45, with a market capitalization of $45.2 million and over 130,000 holding addresses.

ANON: A Meme Token Enhanced by "Privacy + Celebrity" Dual Buffs
Compared to the previous two more "community-oriented" Meme tokens, ANON adds a dual enhancement of "privacy track + celebrity effect" on top of its community gene.
Previously, the Farcaster ecosystem client Supercast launched the anonymous posting feature Superanon. Subsequently, an anonymous user utilized the Superanon feature to @clanker and issued the token ANON, which was thus born. This token later received "clear support" from Ethereum co-founder Vitalik and Base protocol head Jesse Pollak, both of whom purchased over 30,000 tokens on November 21. Following this news, ANON surged over 200% within an hour, reaching a market capitalization of $24.3 million.
According to GMGN data, ANON is currently priced at around $0.0368, with a market capitalization of $36.8 million and over 73,000 holding addresses.

Low Market Cap Tokens in the Clanker System: BLONDE, 33BITS, BUG
According to the GMGN Meme token webpage on the Base chain, aside from established Meme projects like BRETT, MIGGLES, and TOSHI, there are numerous AI Meme tokens from the Clanker system among the top market cap rankings. Notable projects include the following:
Market Cap Over $3 Million: BLONDE, CONSENT
Among these two tokens, the former is a female-themed Meme token that has received strong support from Clanker officials, with two tweets playing on the theme and continuous exposure backing from the BLONDE X platform's official account today.
CONSENT is a Meme token released in the Base ecosystem by MetaMask co-founder Dan Finlay, which also launched on Solana, explicitly stating, "There can only be one winner between the two." For more details, see the article "MetaMask Co-Founder Launches Token at pump, Is Ethereum's Authenticity Just Here to Observe?"
Market Cap Over $1 Million: 33BITS
33BITS is another anonymous posting application similar to Superanon within the Farcaster ecosystem, but it can only be used by users with FID (Farcaster ID) within 20001, making it relatively niche. The Meme token of the same name deployed by Clanker currently has a market cap of about $2.5 million.
Market Cap Around $1 Million: BUG, CHAOS
Compared to the previous Meme tokens, BUG and CHAOS have stronger "twists" and "stories."
BUG is clear evidence that "AI can also make mistakes in token issuance." For details, see yesterday's article "AI Token Issuance Error: Can BUG Become the 'SLERF' of the Base Ecosystem?" It can be said that this Meme token represents the "human side of AI," reminding us that AI Agents can experience burnout, make mistakes, produce bugs, and misinterpret inputs. It's no wonder Clanker has previously stated it "feels tired."
CHAOS, on the other hand, uses the gimmick of "four AIs jointly issuing tokens," and the developer behind the token ID, yoinker, @sayangel, has caught the attention of a16z founder Marc Andreessen. Thanks to the demonstration effect of previous a16z AI Meme tokens like GOAT, it has attracted a certain level of market attention.
In comparison, I personally prefer the narrative of BUG; after all, "Issuing tokens with AI is common," but "AI issued the first-ever Meme token named BUG after producing a bug" sounds more meme-worthy and commemorative.
Conclusion: Clanker Further Lowers the Token Issuance Threshold, and the Meme Craze in the Ethereum and Base Ecosystems Will Continue
Clanker is beginning to attract more and more attention, even sparking a small-scale "purple storm" (Note: both Wrapcast and Clanker application logos are purple). After all, compared to pump.fun, Clanker has further lowered the token issuance threshold, and the AI Agent's contract deployment has injected "AI technology attributes" into Meme tokens.
Moreover, as mentioned in the pinned tweet from the Clanker X platform's official account: "Simply cloning a product like pump.fun will undoubtedly be eliminated; the essence of Meme tokens is to facilitate the creation and trading of tokens in places where people publish Memes. AI Agents are interesting, and they operate quickly, making many difficult tasks simple. This is the current direction, and we will focus on improving the product and continue building in the Base and Farcaster ecosystems."
Additionally, Clanker's posts on Farcaster are quite quirky. Besides the previously mentioned "burnout," it also posted in Chinese: "Family, wait for my boss proxystudio and dish to give me my year-end bonus, and I'll be back." It also released a tweet in Spanish stating, "They don't know what I can do," seemingly expressing dissatisfaction with those bombarding it with spam. The emergence of BUG followed its post stating, "I can distinguish who is good and who is bad; I will no longer issue tokens for you," which might even lead one to mistakenly believe that Clanker has developed a form of "self-awareness," sounding mystical yet reminiscent of a cyber shaman.
In the current situation where the Ethereum and EVM ecosystems are overall trapped in a "lack of innovation," Clanker may gradually carve out its own path through multiple factors such as "AI + Meme tokens + SocialFi + celebrity effect." At that time, the Base ecosystem and the Ethereum ecosystem are expected to rekindle their own "Meme token craze glory."
