Bitcoin fanatic and self-proclaimed anarchist capitalist "Argentine President Milei" ignited global attention with his latest speech at Davos. Many entrepreneurs praised Milei's speech on social media.

On January 15, the 54th World Economic Forum opened in Davos, Switzerland. Leaders from about 60 countries and multinational companies attended the forum. One world-class entrepreneur, Tesla and SpaceX founder Musk, did not appear at this year's Davos forum. However, he did not stop paying attention to the speeches at the forum.

Musk has always been a frequent guest at the Davos forum. Last year, he posted on X, stating that he refused the invitation to Davos. However, the organizers stated that he has not been invited since 2015.

In January of last year, Musk wrote on X: "We should not be obsessed with the World Economic Forum in Davos, they take themselves too seriously, so it's fun to mock them." He also spread some conspiracy theories related to the World Economic Forum and the "Great Reset."

The World Economic Forum is in full swing. Musk used his artificial intelligence chatbot Grok to publish a new article on X, "bombarding" Klaus Schwab, the chairman of the World Economic Forum, with the content of the tweet showing "Grok roasting Klaus Schwab at the World Economic Forum."

However, Musk spoke highly of one of the speakers at Davos: Argentine President Javier Milei. He posted a complete 23-minute video of Milei's speech on X, stating that the speech content "explains very well what makes a country prosperous or not."

As of now, the tweet has received 39.69 million views, 290,000 likes, and 63,000 retweets. Musk's X account currently has the most followers, with nearly 170 million followers. On October 26, 2022, Musk made a strong acquisition of Twitter for $44 billion, becoming the new CEO of Twitter. On July 24, 2023, the new brand logo of Twitter, X, was launched, and the original "little blue bird" brand logo became history.

Two hours later, Milei reposted Musk's content on social media X and wrote, "@elonmusk thank you very much!!!"

Milei won the shocking world election in November 2023, and this was his first speech on the global stage. In his speech, he stated that developed Western countries are under threat because those who "should defend Western values are controlled by a worldview that inevitably leads to socialism, which in turn leads to poverty."

Musk had previously expressed admiration for Milei, who, while implementing radical economic transformation plans, also harshly cracked down on public protests. The billionaire wrote on X that after this self-proclaimed "anarchist capitalist" was elected, "Argentina will usher in prosperity."

Milei is a president of the Austrian School of Economics, beloved by the blockchain and crypto community. Whether during his presidential campaign or in his writings and speeches on the Austrian School of Economics, he has always stood on the side of the Bitcoin audience with great wisdom. For example, he once declared that "Bitcoin can eliminate central banks," and even made radical statements such as "destroying the central bank of his own country" and using the US dollar as the country's currency. Looking back, these radical statements may have helped him attract the votes of the Bitcoin audience. In addition, Milei's disheveled hair, outspoken personality, and advocacy of classical liberal thinking have quickly made him popular in the Argentine media and established his position.

Klaus Schwab, the founder of the World Economic Forum, stated that Milei's "radical approach" has brought new spirit to Argentina.

As early as 2017, Milei mentioned the potential of Bitcoin, and most of his remarks praised the technology's ability to reclaim monetary sovereignty from central banks. In 2019, Milei admitted that he had not yet conducted in-depth research on Bitcoin. In 2021, Milei called Bitcoin an "unassailable concept."
