[ZachXBT: 973,000 MORPHO Stolen from an Institution, Worth Approximately $2.3 Million]
On-chain investigator ZachXBT posted that an institution had two addresses compromised a few hours ago, resulting in the theft of a total of 973,000 MORPHO, valued at approximately $2.3 million. The stolen funds have already been deposited into Tornado Cash. Both victim addresses were exploited through EIP-7702 account delegation transactions.
According to his tracking, one of the addresses belongs to an entity that was also previously hacked on October 9, losing approximately $3.5 million. These assets originated from claims on an old cross-chain bridge and were subsequently transferred cross-chain from Ethereum to Zcash via NEAR Intents, eventually entering the Ironwood privacy pool.
ZachXBT also pointed out that the victim address has on-chain links to another address suspected to belong to Nima Capital.
