[Yemeni Foreign Minister Condemns Iran's Interference in Yemen Under the Pretext of 'Mediation'] According to a report by Alhadath, a Saudi media outlet, the Yemeni Foreign Minister stated, 'We condemn Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi's remarks regarding Tehran's so-called "mediation in Yemen." Such statements cannot conceal the Iranian regime's responsibility for supporting the Houthi rebellion. The Iranian regime has prolonged the war by supplying weapons, missiles, and drones to the Houthi forces, making itself a party fighting against the Yemeni people. Iran should first cease its interference and arming in Yemen instead of proposing mediation. At the same time, the Iranian government should respect the sovereignty of nations, abide by international law, and adhere to principles of good neighborliness. Iranian officials' remarks about "mediation" are a provocation to the families of hundreds of thousands of victims of Iranian weapons. Saudi Arabia has consistently supported the Yemeni state and its people, providing economic, humanitarian, and developmental assistance. The Houthi forces have rejected the roadmap proposed by Saudi Arabia, which aims to bring Yemen back to the political process. Iran is attempting to use Yemen as a bargaining chip in negotiations. The Iranian government's dealings with the coup militia do not grant it legitimacy, nor do they imply that the group has the right to represent Yemen.'
