WuShuo has learned that on August 27, Ireland's national police force, An Garda Síochána, announced that during an ongoing investigation into organized crime activities in the Galway area, officers searched two properties in Galway City and froze two cryptocurrency accounts with a combined value of approximately $900,000. The accounts remain frozen pending further investigation. Police also froze a bank account containing €25,000 (around $29,100), seized €9,300 in cash, approximately €9,000 worth of amphetamines, and around €9,300 worth of cannabis. A man in his 40s was arrested and subsequently charged. The case is still under investigation.
