The scam group posed as recruiters from cryptocurrency companies on LinkedIn, sent emails using forged domain names, conducted video interviews, and tricked victims into downloading malware onto company devices to complete a 'technical test.' This allowed them to steal session tokens, bypass multi-factor authentication, and ultimately transfer cryptocurrency.
