[Late Ondo Founder’s Mother Seeks Control of the Company and Removal of CEO De Bode]
According to The Block, a verified complaint filed with the Delaware Court of Chancery reveals that Kathleen Allman, the mother of late Ondo Finance founder Nathan Allman, is seeking control of the company and the removal of Ian De Bode as CEO and President. Allman claims that in the days following her son’s death, De Bode assumed the role of Ondo’s CEO without board approval and attempted to make himself the sole director of the company. She further argues that, as the personal representative of Nathan Allman’s estate, she holds controlling voting rights in the company and has the authority to restructure the board of directors.
