[Kraken Parent Company Adjusts xStocks Governance Design, Connects Voting Channel with Broadridge] According to The Block, Kraken's parent company Payward announced a partnership with Broadridge, allowing eligible xStocks holders to submit proxy voting intentions for the corresponding stocks, changing the previous arrangement where xStocks did not have voting rights. xStocks, issued by Backed, are exclusively available to qualified investors outside the United States and the United Kingdom. Currently, supported assets have been expanded to include Hong Kong-listed stocks through collaboration with financial technology infrastructure provider GTN, with plans to further extend to markets in the United Kingdom, Europe, South Korea, and others. Broadridge will provide digital asset infrastructure support for the product, including proxy voting, post-trade services, wallet, and custody solutions.
