Take Gate as an example: the platform now allows users to trade precious metals, commodities, stocks, indices, and ETFs. Among these, precious metals (gold and silver) have accumulated a trading volume of over $11 billion since their launch, far exceeding stocks at $8.4 billion, indices and ETFs at $1.2 billion, and other commodities at $494 million. Excluding crypto assets, precious metals account for 52% of Gate's trading volume, stocks account for 39%, indices and ETFs account for 6%, and other commodities account for only 2.3%.
