Over the next five years, customs will focus on expanding markets through openness and promoting mutual benefits through cooperation, consolidating and expanding diversified markets. Starting from May 1 this year, China has fully implemented zero-tariff measures for 53 African countries with diplomatic relations. "To this end, we have formulated a regulatory plan to implement the zero-tariff policy, innovatively adopted risk-based graded and categorized management, and introduced facilitation measures such as 'integrated access' to expand the 'green channel' for agricultural and food products entering China," Sun Meijun said. In the first half of this year, China's imports and exports with Africa increased by 19.6% year-on-year. (Xinhua News Agency)
