[Samsung, SK, and Naver Executives to Meet NVIDIA CEO in the U.S., Vera Rubin System Supply Imminent] Odaily Planet Daily reports that Samsung Electronics Chairman Lee Jae-yong, SK Group Chairman Chey Tae-won, and Naver Chairman Lee Hae-jin will meet with NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang in the U.S. The meeting is expected to take place this week near Silicon Valley in a roundtable format, with the 24th being the most likely date. OpenAI CEO Sam Altman and Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei are also mentioned as potential attendees. If the meeting proceeds, participants will cover areas such as storage, GPUs, and generative AI services within the AI market. This meeting comes ahead of the supply of NVIDIA's next-generation AI platform, the Vera Rubin system. With the mass production of next-generation GPUs underway, discussions will involve stakeholders related to HBM4 memory supply, AI data centers, and cloud infrastructure development. Last month, Samsung Electronics discussed with NVIDIA the timeline and volume for HBM4 supply, collaboration on wafer foundry and SOCAMM, and joint development of next-generation HBM. SK plans to build gigawatt-scale AI factories and AI clouds based on NVIDIA's platform, with the first launch in South Korea scheduled for next year. Naver has also disclosed its vision of building a gigawatt-scale global AI factory in collaboration with NVIDIA.
