According to Xinhua News Agency, the main suspect, Liu Mouwen, involved in kidnapping and murdering Chinese citizens in the Philippines, was extradited back to China from the U.S. on July 20. The Ministry of Public Security stated that Liu Mouwen and others were suspected of carrying out a series of kidnapping and murder cases. After the crimes were committed in 2024, Liu fled to the U.S., where he was arrested in October of the same year and recently handed over to Chinese authorities. In June 2024, Xia Mou, the marketing director of Suzhou Ruimeide Medical Technology Co., Ltd., and their Chinese-American business partner went missing after traveling to the Philippines for business negotiations. It was later confirmed that they were kidnapped and murdered. The kidnappers demanded a large ransom from the victims' families, insisting on payment in cryptocurrencies like USDT. Despite the families paying approximately 3 million RMB, the two victims were still killed. https://(wublock123.com)/news/suspect-extradited-to-china-for-usdt-ransom-kidnap-murder-philippines-64998
