[AI Voice Startup Gradium Secures $100 Million in Seed Funding, Nvidia Participates]
According to TechCrunch, Paris-based AI voice startup Gradium has secured $100 million in seed funding, with new investors including Nvidia. The company emerged from stealth mode last December with $70 million in funding, backed by investors such as FirstMark Capital, Eurazeo, DST Global Partners, Eric Schmidt, and French telecom billionaire Xavier Niel. Gradium is a spinoff from Kyutai AI Lab (supported by Niel) and was co-founded by Neil Zeghidour, a researcher who previously worked at Google Brain, DeepMind, and Facebook. The company focuses on ultra-low latency voice AI models.
