[Modern Credit Card and Hyundai Motor Complete Stablecoin Remittance Proof of Concept Between U.S. and Mexico Business Units] According to the Asian Business Daily, Modern Credit Card and Hyundai Motor have completed a proof of concept (PoC) for cross-border remittances based on stablecoins, enabling stablecoin transfers between Hyundai Motor's U.S. and Mexico entities. They plan to launch a second round of validation between European entities at the end of this month. In the first round of PoC, Hyundai Motor's U.S. entity converted $20,000 into USDT, remitted it to the Mexico entity, and then reconverted it into USD. The entire process took an average of 7 minutes, significantly faster than the 3 to 4 hours typically required for traditional bank transfers. Participants included Modern Credit Card, Hyundai Motor's U.S. and Mexico entities, Tether, Avalanche, and Axiym. The second round of PoC will take place in Europe, involving actual remittances in non-USD local currencies, with Circle and Visa among the participants.
