Robinhood chain has been live for about 3 days, and the TVL is under $100 million. Without much accompanying incentives at launch, it’s hard for funds to flow in. For stock tokens on Uniswap, there’s only TSLA for now, and it doesn’t even have liquidity. The only thing worth playing around with is Lighter’s Robinhood Domain, for which Lighter shelled out $11 million in incentives. Overall, it feels underwhelming and below expectations. At the very least, they should properly develop the on-chain stock token use cases. For example, an on-chain stock token spot trading solution that supports large transactions could have more competitiveness than Ondo. Enabling stock tokens to scale into lending protocols would also be huge, though the main challenge remains the lack of a good solution for liquidation issues. These are all things with real demand if they can be executed.
