SoftBank is creating the biggest data center. On Fox Business, Arm CEO and SoftBank Group International CEO Rene Haas was asked what he thinks about Meta selling compute, which could mean a compute supply glut. Haas disagreed, pointing to SpaceX's compute deal with Anthropic as proof of real demand, not oversupply. He said Meta's situation is similar, and that only a handful of companies, SpaceX, Meta, and SoftBank, have the financial muscle to compete at gigawatt scale, which is why SoftBank is moving in.(Lark Davis)
