[Meta Chief AI Officer Responds to Market Misunderstanding: Zuckerberg's Comments on Slowed AI Agent Development Not Specifically Referring to Meta]
Deep Tide TechFlow reports that on July 3, in response to media reports claiming that Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg told employees during an internal meeting that AI agent development over the past four months had not 'accelerated at the pace we expected,' Meta Chief AI Officer Alexander Wang issued a statement to clarify. He explained that Zuckerberg was referring to the overall progress of the industry in intelligent agent capabilities, not Meta itself. Wang also revealed that Meta is about to release a new round of Muse Spark updates, which will significantly enhance the model's programming capabilities and intelligent agent functionalities, making it more competitive with leading models in the industry. These updates will gradually be rolled out to Meta AI and the new API platform.
