For the first time in Ukraine, seized encrypted assets will be placed under state custody and transferred to ARMA wallets According to Decrypt, Ukrainian prosecutors have for the first time transferred seized encrypted assets to the national asset management agency ARMA, and over 8.3 million USDT have been transferred to its custodial wallet. The above-mentioned funds come from the wallet of a suspected member of an international hacker group, which is accused of carrying out ransomware attacks on European and American companies and individuals, stealing data, and laundering money through the purchase of properties and vehicles in Ukraine, causing losses of over $100 million. Currently, four suspects have been detained, and a total of over 11.1 million US dollars in assets have been seized, including properties, vehicles, approximately 1 million US dollars in cash, and encrypted assets. The takeover by ARMA is the first custody case involving digital assets since its 2025 reform and strengthened transparency in asset management.
