[SpaceX Accounts for 86% of Global Launch Capacity in a Single Quarter, Musk Claims Starship Mass Production Will Surpass All Competitors by 100 Times] According to a report by Jinse Finance, as of June 20, in the first quarter of 2026, the total global payload for space launches reached approximately 647,000 kilograms, an 18% year-on-year increase. SpaceX ranked first with 556,000 kilograms, more than 13 times that of the second place, single-handedly accounting for about 86% of global launch capacity. Musk commented on this, stating: Once Starship achieves hourly launches, SpaceX's orbital payload capacity will be about 100 times that of all other operators combined, even if they triple their current launch frequencies. Currently, Starship has not yet entered high-frequency commercial operations, but SpaceX has already established an overwhelming advantage with its Falcon series. Analysts point out that once Starship is scaled up and operational, the global aerospace landscape will undergo a historic transformation.
