[Zcash Core Developer Updates on Ironwood Progress: Multiple Organizations Reach Consensus on Additional Changes, Formal Verification and Audits Progressing Simultaneously]
Foresight News reports that Zcash core developer Sean Bowe posted an update on the latest progress of the Ironwood upgrade. Over the past 48 hours, protocol developers from various organizations have held two meetings and reached consensus on the specifications and implementation details of Ironwood, including: disabling Orchard pool bundling in Coinbase, using anchors as authentication data for hardware wallet migration, and the processing order of ZIPs and specifications.
Currently, the draft integration of the Ironwood circuit and ZIP 2005 is under review. Valar Group has set up a testnet and completed some wallet-side changes. Meanwhile, formal verification work is ongoing, and developers will hold a meeting tomorrow to finalize the verification strategy. Additionally, at least three major auditing firms are conducting security audits on Orchard, with multiple AI auditing tools running concurrently. Overall, progress is going smoothly.
