[National Cybersecurity Notification Center: Over 200,000 Active OpenClaw Globally, Including Approximately 23,000 Domestically]
Monitoring data from the National Cybersecurity Information Notification Center indicates that there are currently over 200,000 active OpenClaw internet assets globally, with approximately 23,000 active domestically. These assets are experiencing explosive growth, primarily concentrated in internet resource-intensive regions such as Beijing, Shanghai, Guangdong, Zhejiang, Sichuan, and Jiangsu.
A large number of OpenClaw assets exposed to the internet pose significant security risks and are highly likely to become key targets for cyberattacks. Among these, the behavior of intelligent agents is uncontrollable, and management is highly challenging. During the execution of commands, OpenClaw intelligent agents are prone to permission control failures, leading to unauthorized task execution and ignoring user instructions. This could result in scenarios such as deleting user data, stealing user information, or taking over user terminal devices, causing substantial economic losses.
