This cycle has rewarded people that have been holding BTC. If you held pretty much anything but that, the old spot & being patient method has mostly underperformed. There have definitely been altcoin runs but it has been very specific between a dozen coins that did well over the past few years. In today's market, simply holding & waiting does not get rewarded on alts. You need to be nimble and be very aware of the flows and estimate these to your best ability. Many unlocks in a bad market environment? Not a great hold. Consistent buybacks or institutional inflows? Might be a better idea.(Daan Crypto Trades)
