Over the past nine years, we transformed the National Water Commission from a loss-making entity into one that is now operating profitably. This success gives us the foundation to do even more.
In our next administration, we will launch a major Rural Water Supply Programme, with a special allocation similar to SPARK, where we invested 45 billion in roads. Within five years, every feasible community in Jamaica will have access to potable water in their homes.
This initiative will go hand in hand with the formalization of communities, providing proper roads, land titles, and essential services.
The Jamaica Labour Party will continue to cut debt, crime, inflation, taxes, and poverty, and in the next term, we will cut bad roads, water shortages, and the inconvenience that has held too many Jamaicans back. #DoingMoreForYou #ChooseJamaica(Andrew Holness)
