The mature, comprehensive digital asset company HashKey Group from Asia announced that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Kbank, a South Korean internet bank, and BPMG Group, a blockchain technology company. The three parties will engage in deep cooperation around the development of digital asset business models and technical implementation. This cooperation marks an important move in the "Asia Connect" strategy in the South Korean market, signifying the group's efforts to connect major digital asset markets in Asia and promote collaborative development of regional financial infrastructure while accelerating the construction and implementation of a new generation of financial infrastructure.
South Korea is one of the most vibrant markets for digital assets globally. Kbank, as a representative internet bank in South Korea, has about 16 million customers and possesses deep insights and service experience in the digital finance field. BPMG is a significant technological force in South Korea's blockchain and AI sectors and has previously engaged in cross-border payment concept verification cooperation based on the Korean won stablecoin with Kbank in Thailand and the UAE. By joining this collaborative matrix, HashKey Group will fully leverage its deep accumulation in compliant digital asset infrastructure to synergize with Kbank's banking financial service capabilities and BPMG's technological advantages, jointly exploring the application of the Korean won stablecoin in scenarios such as cross-border payments and trade settlements.
In terms of specific cooperation, HashKey Group will utilize its institutional network service capabilities and industry insights to promote ecological connections with traditional financial institutions and digital asset service providers, assisting in the design and implementation of digital asset business models; Kbank will be responsible for evaluating and ensuring the compliance and feasibility of these innovative business models within the South Korean financial environment; BPMG will lead business cooperation through its U.S. subsidiary ARACORE, mainly providing technical support and overseeing the establishment of underlying payment and settlement infrastructure based on stablecoins. The three parties will work closely together to jointly explore the global digital asset market.
HashKey Group has been committed to building digital asset infrastructure for Asia connectivity and fully leveraging its core advantages in global compliance licensing, institutional-level digital asset services, and cross-jurisdictional operations. Currently, the group has established deep business collaborations in locations such as the Philippines, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, and the UAE (Dubai). This memorandum of understanding with South Korean partners will further strengthen the group's connections with financial and technology institutions in Korea, laying the groundwork for expanding cross-border payments, settlements, and digital asset service scenarios in Asia.
In the future, HashKey Group will continue to provide regional institutional users with more efficient, transparent, and cost-effective digital asset settlement solutions, truly advancing the new generation of digital financial infrastructure from vision to reality.
