DeFi Development Corp. (Nasdaq: DFDV) announced the acquisition of 172,670 solana ( SOL) tokens at an average price of $136.81, totaling approximately $23.6 million, marking the company’s largest purchase of solana to date and its tenth acquisition under its digital asset treasury strategy. Following this transaction, DeFi Development Corp. now holds a total of 595,988 SOL, valued at around $102.7 million, including staking rewards. As of May 12, 2025, the company reported a total of 2,037,531 shares outstanding, resulting in a solana per share (SPS) metric of 0.293, equivalent to $50.42. The newly acquired SOL will be held long-term and staked with various validators, including the company’s own solana validators, to generate yield. DeFi Development Corp. plans to continue providing updates on its treasury and investment strategies through public releases and regulatory filings.
