HashKey Chain will officially launch its Staking feature on March 3, 2025, at 20:00 (UTC+8), providing users with flexible on-chain asset appreciation services. Currently, HashKey Chain Staking supports HSK staking, allowing users to choose different lock-up periods based on their needs, enjoying corresponding annualized returns and additional rewards, with a maximum annualized return of up to 12%. The launch of this Staking feature aims to provide users with asset appreciation channels while further enriching the application scenarios of the HashKey Chain ecosystem.

The Solana re-staking platform Solayer has officially opened claims for its native token LAYER airdrop, but PANews has tested and found that claims are not yet open. Solayer stated in its blog that for early and eligible community members, LAYER tokens from the Genesis Drop will be unlocked immediately upon release and can be claimed for additional LAYER over the next six months through Epoch. The claim window will open at 8:00 PM Beijing time on February 11, 2025, and will remain open for 30 days until 8:00 PM on March 4, 2025. The Pectra network upgrade is planned to launch on the Ethereum testnet. It went live on Holesky at epoch 115968 (February 25, 2025, 05:55 Beijing time) and will go live on Sepolia at epoch 222464 (March 5, 2025, 15:29 Beijing time). The Pectra testnet client versions are listed below. After both testnets successfully upgrade, one mainnet activation epoch will be selected. Pectra follows last year's Dencun upgrade and introduces enhanced Ethereum accounts, improved validator experience, support for L2 scaling, and more features.

Japanese securities giant SBI Group announced that its cryptocurrency business has achieved a new quarterly profit high. SBI has also partnered with Circle, the operator of USDC, to promote the launch of USDC trading pairs in Japan.
