Ambrus Studio recently completed a Series A financing round of several million US dollars, led by Spartan Group, with participation from IVC, SUI Foundation, Knight Capital, Goodwater Capital, ZeePrime Capital, and other top investment institutions. The studio is set to launch its first Telegram game, E4C: Demon Hunter, on September 16. Ambrus Studio will introduce the web3 game incubation platform E4C, focusing on developing and incubating high-quality blockchain-based games. Through a long-term stable development strategy, the studio aims to meet the needs of both web2 and web3 gamers. The release of Demon Hunter as the first Telegram mini-app game under E4C holds significant strategic importance for Ambrus Studio's long-term development.
About Ambrus Studio
Founded in December 2021 by former Riot Games Asia Pacific CEO Johnson Yeh, Ambrus Studio aims to create a gaming ecosystem that provides a better gaming experience for Web2 players, thereby making web3 technology mainstream in the gaming industry. Johnson Yeh stated, "Even three years ago when we founded the studio, we did not believe in a purely 'play-to-earn' model. We have always focused on how to use blockchain technology and Web3 elements to enhance the player experience and solve problems in the gaming industry. We have decided to make free games profitable in emerging markets through Web3 technology. We hope to be the first studio dedicated to providing interesting gaming experiences for underserved markets such as South Asia, the emerging Middle East, and Africa."
The team at Ambrus Studio mostly consists of members with experience from major game companies such as Riot Games, Tencent, and miHoYo, and has already partnered with well-known gaming platforms like Nazara, TapTap, and Rockville Games. In the web3 field, Ambrus Studio is deeply integrated with the recently popular Sui ecosystem. To learn more, visit ambrus.studio.
E4C: Demon Hunter
Demon Hunter is an aerial view action shooting game developed by Ambrus Studio, featuring the mercenary Sehk as the main character. Sehk uses her hand crossbow to hunt down various demons and monsters. The game is easy to control, with automatic attacks when not moving. The main skill of the game is to dodge various bullet patterns and enemies while moving, and to eliminate them through attacks during movement intervals. Players can also earn additional rewards by inviting friends to watch ads. The player's growth in the game will ultimately be converted into a "combat power" value, which will be related to future E4C airdrops.
Demon Hunter sets itself apart from the currently popular Tap-To-Earn games on Telegram by offering high game playability and greater depth. Players need to overcome challenges through skill to achieve higher combat power, which also tests the player's skills, allowing skilled players to grow faster in the game. Additionally, Demon Hunter is expected to introduce a player versus player mode, enriching the player's gaming experience.
There will be two types of assets in the game: Gold coin and Bits. Players can earn Bits by inviting friends, watching ads, and other means, making it easier for players to pass game levels and obtain in-game rewards, including materials for upgrading weapons and Gold coins. Gold coins can help players synthesize items or purchase runes to enhance combat power.
E4C platform
E4C is not just a game distribution platform; Ambrus Studio aims to develop E4C into a comprehensive gaming platform that combines game incubation, game distribution, game communities, and game task centers. Ambrus Studio will soon announce more groundbreaking news about the E4C Platform.
