Recently, the full-chain modular Rollup network Initia, the full-chain interoperability protocol Analog, and the AI project MyShell incubated by Binance Labs, in which Binance Labs has invested, have successively announced the launch of their test networks and quickly made it to the RootData trending list, becoming popular projects for user interaction in the crypto community.
Initia - Full-Chain Modular Rollup Network
On the evening of May 14th, Initia announced the launch of its public test network, quickly making it to the RootData trending list and becoming the top trending project.
Initia has very high user interaction. According to the latest data released by Initia's official X platform, within 48 hours of opening the public test network, there were over 170,000 active users and over 3.2 million transactions.
According to RootData, Initia announced its investment from Binance Labs in October last year, but the investment amount was not disclosed. In February this year, Initia announced a $7.5 million financing round led by Delphi Digital and Hack VC, with participation from Nascent, Figment Capital, A.Capital, and others.
Initia has tapped into hot narratives such as "modularity" and "interoperability."
Initia is a full-chain Rollup network for the Cosmos ecosystem, which allows interoperability between each Rollup, enabling interconnection and aiming to eliminate the fragmented experience of multi-chain systems.
Initia has both a Layer1 and a Layer2 application chain system called Minitia. Initia's Layer1 integrates multiple core modules such as Cosmos's IBC, virtual machines (MoveVM, WasmVM, etc.), and is responsible for the underlying security, coordination, and resource allocation. Initia's numerous Rollup Layer2s meet users' customized needs, and because these Rollup Layer2s are built on a unified standard, they can achieve cross-chain interoperability. Initia's two core developers, Zon and Stan Liu, were previously smart contract developers and MEV researchers at Terraform Labs.
The recently announced incentive public test network, initiation-1, by Initia will last for 8 weeks and currently has no interaction costs. The mainnet is expected to go live later this year.
The current interaction tutorial for Initia is roughly as follows:
- Download the wallet plugin and log in to generate a wallet address;
- Copy the created wallet address and claim test water;
- Complete tasks as required: domain registration, make a swap, staking, LP, etc.;
- Forge Baby Jennie NFT;
- Feed Baby Jennie.
Analog - Full-Chain Interoperability Protocol
On May 7th, Analog announced the opening of the second phase of the testnet to community members on the X platform. The previous first phase of the testnet was for developers and has now ended. Analog has also been a popular search project on the RootData trending list in the past week.
According to the official website, Analog is a completely decentralized Layer0, aiming to introduce trustless full-chain interoperability, allowing developers to easily build their applications through common protocols and APIs. Analog has also introduced a novel, ultra-fast PoT protocol that creates verifiable event data on the timeline, allowing DApp developers to build next-generation event-based applications.
In February this year, Analog announced a $16 million financing, valuing the company at $120 million. The investors participating in Analog's investment this time have impressive backgrounds, including Binance Labs, NGC Ventures, NEAR Protocol, Wintermute, Mask Network, GSR, DWF Labs, MH Ventures, Tribe Capital, Alumni Ventures, OrangeDAO, Mike Novogratz, Balaji Srinivasan, and others.
Analog's team members have worked in several key projects or institutions in the crypto industry, such as X Fund, Injective Labs, Chainlink, Polkadot, and more. Recommended reading: “Analog: A New Project by Crypto Veterans - $16 Million Financing with Airdrop Expectations”
Analog has already conducted a public airdrop, with 26% of its total supply allocated for the airdrop, and the testnet airdrop reward is 2% of the total token supply.
Analog has published an overview article on how to participate in the second phase of the testnet on its official blog, “Analog's Incentivized Testnet – Phase 2: Community”.

MyShell - Decentralized AI Consumption Layer
MyShell is an AI project incubated by Binance Labs in its sixth phase, and it recently announced the launch of the first phase of its test network. It will also release a new platform equity NFT, MySoul, at the end of May.
According to official information, MyShell is a decentralized AI consumer layer that allows creators to build artificial intelligence agents or robots that consumers or users can use. Its ecosystem includes robots such as OpenVoice (an instant voice cloning program), MeloTTS, a multilingual text-to-speech (TTS) library, and an AI agent named Alice, which can perform various tasks including thematic research, coding, and literature reviews. MyShell is currently divided into two versions, Web2 and Web3, where users can interact with a wide variety of AI robots and create their own robot characters.
The MyShell team members mainly come from MIT, Princeton, and Oxford, with extensive experience in AI product development and marketing.
In March of this year, MyShell received a $11 million Pre-A round of financing led by Dragonfly, with participation from Delphi Digital, Bankless Ventures, Nascent, Foresight Ventures, OKX Ventures, GSR, Maven11, Nomad Capital, Animoca Brands, and Balaji Srinivasan.
In October last year, MyShell also received a $5.6 million seed round of financing led by INCE Capital, with participation from HashKey Capital, SevenX Ventures, Signum Capital, and Folius Ventures.
MyShell is currently conducting a public airdrop, and users can refer to this guide for interaction.
Conclusion
Recently, in the absence of much excitement in the altcoin market, community users are still enthusiastic about interacting with first-tier projects, especially those invested in or incubated by Binance Labs, which are a focus of attention for users. According to RootData, Binance Labs has recently invested in several early-stage projects such as Movement, Zest Protocol, UXUY, and MilkyWay, and the future interaction opportunities for these projects are also worth paying attention to.
