The ETH Global Istanbul Hackathon has recently begun.
Multiple new projects are participating in the competition, and the following are the 10 projects that have advanced to the final round:
Clade Club
S.C.I
BridgeBuddy
Buddy-Guard
Sarma
AidDistribute
TapTrust
Footy Stars
Lens & Frens
1. Clade Club: A fair social governance platform that prioritizes data-driven decision-making
Project Link: https://ethglobal.com/showcase/clade-club-vhgdb
Project Description:
Aiming to impact DAO (decentralized autonomous organization) governance structures by addressing fairness, efficiency, and transparency issues. Inspired by Ray Dalio's "dot collector" concept, we have developed a platform that combines secondary voting, facial recognition KYC (Know Your Customer) through Worldcoin, and a unique session-based decision-making process.
2. S.C.I: Verifying smart contract security to prevent phishing attacks
Project Link: https://ethglobal.com/showcase/s-c-i-0760q
Project Description:
Secure Contract Interactions is a protocol for on-chain contract-to-domain verification. It is used to verify the smart contracts you are interacting with, whether they have been verified by the domain owner, and to prevent fraud or phishing attacks.
3. BridgeBuddy: A wallet that automatically bridges funds
Project Link: https://ethglobal.com/showcase/bridgebuddy-36te1
Project Description:
A chain-abstracted wallet that automatically bridges assets using Hyperlane Warp Routes and Safe Core when needed.
This project simplifies the user experience by hiding the complexity of various EVM-compatible chains. Users do not need to monitor and manage funds on each chain and complete the bridging process; the wallet consolidates and displays all assets together. If a transaction requires additional funds on a specific chain, the wallet will automatically bridge the required amount before executing the transaction, using account abstraction to achieve a seamless process.
4. Buddy-Guard: Community acting as your guardian
Project Link: https://ethglobal.com/showcase/buddy-guard-1ivrj
Project Description:
A social security application developed for individuals leaving groups, especially single women, at night. They can add their social groups as friend guards, who can help monitor their whereabouts and provide support when necessary.
5. Sarma: Development tool for achieving privacy
Project Link: https://ethglobal.com/showcase/sarma-evm-zkevm-pexc-9wp7o
Project Description:
This project implements a tool called Sarma, which achieves public/private execution duality on any EVM. It can also work across multiple EVM chains. Users can write the public parts of smart contracts using Solidity as usual. When private execution and addressing are needed, Sarma (encrypted UTXO-style blob) can achieve privacy. The private parts of the smart contract are written in Noir.
6. AidDistribute: Providing transparency for humanitarian fund support
Project Link: https://ethglobal.com/showcase/aiddistribute-vem7n
Project Description:
AidDistribute enables organizations such as UNICEF to securely distribute cash and conditionally allow its expenditure.
Organizations can deposit stablecoins into a transparent treasury and mint bearer tokens, then distribute them to designated recipients. These tokens can seamlessly transfer to selected merchants or services, which then exchange them for stablecoins.
Organizations can also set withdrawal limits for each merchant, ensuring equal economic distribution among many services. AidDistribute ensures traceable and accountable channels for direct cash transfers, enhancing the transparency, efficiency, and direct impact of humanitarian aid work.
7. TapTrust: A new conference experience based on AA and NFC technology
Project Link: https://ethglobal.com/showcase/taptrust-12smv
Project Description: TapTrust completely changes the participation experience of offline events by utilizing NFC technology and Ethereum's account abstraction. Each attendee receives a new NFC chip with a unique key pair, allowing them to interact with Ethereum transactions even without Ether, ensuring seamless active participation and protecting their privacy. This innovative approach provides each user with a new private address, maintaining anonymity while promoting transparent event interactions.
TapTrust is not just an entry tool; it is a gateway to a new era of decentralized event experiences centered on privacy, where every click is securely and anonymously linked to the blockchain world.
8. Footy Stars: Blockchain version of "Football Manager"
Project Link: https://ethglobal.com/showcase/footy-stars-zw8ug
Project Description: FootyStars is the world's first verified football simulator, paving the way for immersive fantasy football matches involving real-world stakes. For the first time, Fantasy Football is no longer just a game; it has become a true football manager simulator.
Verifiable simulation: Match results are "trustless," meaning anyone can verify the simulation's correct execution by comparing it to the simulated results. ZKPs are generated from off-chain zkML.
9. ZKvote.cc: A ZKP-backed on-chain voting system
Project Link: https://ethglobal.com/showcase/zk-vote-9ipgt
Project Description: Blockchain-based voting systems often encounter two issues: user anonymity or the uniqueness of votes. Traditional witch resistance solutions often rely on multi-verification wallets, compromising anonymity.
This project allows for a voting system where users can verify their voting ability using ZKP with verifiable private credentials.
10. Lens & Frens: Zero-knowledge proof ticketing system based on Lens
Project Link: https://ethglobal.com/showcase/lens-and-frens-ogedp
Project Description: A user-friendly zero-knowledge (zk) ticketing system, which is part of the DevConnect login framework. Here, users create tickets on the blockchain, meaning each ticket is secure and verifiable wherever it is minted.
According to the project developers, we like to think of these different chains as our "friends," without exposing privacy.
Additionally, the project emphasizes community, so it integrates a method for validating Lens Protocol configuration profiles, allowing ticket holders to prove their identity through decentralized social media accounts on the Lens platform.
