Jamaica made strong progress internationally, strengthening trade, regional partnerships, and security. As Chair of the Caribbean Conference of Heads of Government last year, we expanded regional flights, boosted trade, and advanced food security, youth development, and cybersecurity. Following Hurricane Melissa, Jamaica received crucial support from global partners, NGOs, and our diaspora. We also signed the UN Cybercrime Convention and advanced key international agreements. In 2026–2027, our focus will be building stronger international partnerships, fighting transnational crime, and boosting trade and investment to grow Jamaica’s economy.(Andrew Holness)
