**[U.S. Labor Market Slowdown Worsens in November]** According to CNBC, cited by Jin10, the slowdown in the U.S. labor market worsened in November. A report released on Wednesday by Automatic Data Processing, Inc. (ADP) showed that private companies laid off 32,000 employees during the month, with small businesses being hit the hardest. As concerns over the domestic employment situation in the U.S. intensify, ADP data indicates that the problem is more severe than expected. This payroll decline report marks a sharp deterioration in the labor market compared to October (October data was revised upward to an increase of 47,000 jobs) and falls far short of the 40,000 job increase forecasted by economists surveyed by Dow Jones. This ADP report is the last employment data available to the Federal Reserve before its December interest rate decision. Although some officials remain uncertain about the need for further easing, futures traders still believe there is nearly a 90% chance that the Federal Reserve will cut its key interest rate by another 25 basis points.
