Most people are still using AI incorrectly.
They ask it questions.
Elon Musk has just pointed out the right way.
Yesterday, Jason Ginsburg wrote, “Treat Grok Bot as a teammate, give
@bot
an ambitious task you would normally assign to a new employee.”
Elon’s answer: “That’s the way.”
Three words. Completely transformed the way we work.
This is what it looks like in real life.
Scott Bilos runs a business with a very traditional sales cycle. Those deals that take months to nurture.
He pointed Grok Bot at his company’s tools.
It dug into the past. Unearthed old leads and clients who had lost contact. Then it handed them over to his sales representatives.
Two weeks later, a deal was closed.
In his words, “Without Grok Bot, we probably wouldn’t have contacted that old client.”
Think about this.
Not faster search. Not smarter autocomplete. Not a chatbot.
It's a teammate who discovered the hidden money.
Everyone thought AI would be a better answer-providing machine.
In reality, it's a new kind of colleague.
Elon Musk bluntly stated back in October: "Imagine you're hiring a super-capable employee."
Not the tool you open. A person you assign tasks to.
Teams keep adding features. Product pages. Order tracking. Payments. Team bots, shared across the entire company.
Every week, job descriptions get longer.
Here's the part almost no one sees.
Historically, having a team was a privilege. Only the wealthy, large corporations, and those with extensive networks could delegate tasks.
Everyone else had to do everything alone.
That wall is crumbling.
A small shop owner. A single parent. A sailor at sea. Anyone can now say, "This is the task. Go."
When everyone has a team, everyone becomes a builder.
And a civilization of one builder won't last long on a small scale.
Stop asking AI questions.
Give it a job.
