On August 31, the on-chain intelligence platform Arkham released a screenshot: the address marked as "Bonk Guy Fomo" had a floating profit of about 5 million dollars in a week, of which about 4.4 million dollars came from PONS. He acquired about 1% of the chips at a market value of around 6 million dollars, and thereafter hardly made any moves.

The person involved, @theunipcs, replied the next day: "I am a fan of Arkham, but it will soon be 6.5 million dollars."

The underlying implication is: the address is acknowledged, and the numbers are still conservative.

Three years ago, the trader theunipcs turned 16,000 dollars in BONK perpetual into eight-digit floating profits. Now, he is reappearing at the top of the profit leaderboard with Robinhood Chain's launchpad coins.

PONS Explodes

PONS is the platform token created by Pons Labs on the Robinhood Chain, which is not an official product of Robinhood. The mainnet for Robinhood Chain launched in July of this year, and Pons quickly became the most focused non-custodial launchpad on this L2 in terms of issued coins and transactions. Approximately 80% of the trading fees in the protocol are used for buyback and burn.

On September 3, Pons Labs officially disclosed its total transaction volume over the past 24 hours was 400 million dollars. According to GMGN's latest market data, its market value once surpassed 500 million dollars.

He bought PONS at a market value of 6 million dollars, and if calculated at the current 500 million dollar market value, he would have gained approximately 83 times return.

Who is Bonk Guy

Unipcs has previously explained his user nickname, which is a combination of Uniswap and PancakeSwap, and he primarily traded meme coins on these two DEXs in the early days. In a long interview on Bybit in January 2025, he mentioned that he first encountered Bitcoin over a decade ago through reports related to Silk Road. He started with five-digit losses and then rebuilt with around four-digit mid-high positions, after which most of his positions rolled out from meme coins. The 2021 wave of GME and Dogecoin made him conclude that memes were his main battlefield.

He is best known by his nickname Bonk Guy.

The nickname originated from a BONK trade in October 2023, where he used around 16,000 dollars in principal with 6x leverage to go long on BONK, which had a market value of around 20 million dollars at that time, peaking at a floating profit of over 20 million dollars. In November 2024, he publicly stated two numbers: he had held the position for 13 months and paid a total funding fee of approximately 1.879 million dollars; he did not close his position despite a drawdown of 70%–80% from the peak floating profit.

He later reviewed other public trades, where WIF went from 6,000 dollars to a maximum floating profit of about 1.4 million dollars; Fartcoin once had a floating profit of over 8 million dollars. Additionally, he also traded POPCAT, PNUT, FLOKI, and others, all with significant profits.

Black Swan Liquidation

In June 2024, "The Defiant" published an article that represented the community split: some compared him to the Roaring Kitty of the crypto circle, while others felt he was performing at a high position and many users on Twitter concentrated their anger on him when BONK retreated from its peak floating profit.

However, even after multiple highlights, he could not escape the black swan of October 2025.

On that day, about 20 billion dollars in liquidations occurred across the market. The next day he posted a long message stating that all perpetual contracts had been liquidated, including BONK, FARTCOIN, POPCAT, PNUT, CAT, APEX, etc.; at the peak of his positions, he had over 30 million dollars in floating profits and still had over 15 million dollars just before liquidation. The collateral ASTER in DeFi lost about 80%. Most of the USELESS spot was still intact.

He wrote at that time, "I will make it back."

In May 2026, he moved to the social trading platform FOMO. In late August, he reported his FOMO portfolio had reached an ATH of about 6 million dollars, earning about 3 million in the last 30 days; out of 17 trades, 14 were still profitable at that time. The platform officially posted on September 2 congratulating him for topping three leaderboards.

In addition to PONS, during the same period, he was also promoting MARSCOIN, USELESS, and an entire basket of Robinhood Chain targets. He claimed that USELESS had "stronger conviction than when he did BONK in 2023."

A single profit of over 5 million dollars is still some distance from his peak; Bonk Guy is still on the path to recovery.
