Last time from June 15 to 21, $MSTR bought 520 bitcoins at an average price of about $67,068. After more than two months, MSTR bought Bitcoin again, this time acquiring 4,603 bitcoins at an average price of $80,318, with a total value of $369.7 million.
During these more than two months, MSTR sold a total of 6,948 BTC, receiving approximately $430 million, with an average price of around $62,000. From a mathematical perspective, it does seem a bit “unfortunate,” but under the circumstances at that time, it was indeed correct to use the sale of BTC to repurchase preferred shares.
In the past week, Strategy sold 4,531,421 shares of MSTR common stock through an ATM in the market, generating $602.8 million. In addition to using $369.7 million to purchase Bitcoin, $151.8 million was used to repurchase $STRC, $50.7 million was used to pay STRC dividends, and an additional $30 million was added to cash reserves.
Currently, MSTR’s ATM still has a remaining issuance limit of $19.0908 billion.
