
PANews April 29 news, according to Bloomberg, JPMorgan Chase has appointed former Goldman Sachs executive Oliver Harris to lead its blockchain division Kinexys. Harris will focus on the commercialization of Kinexys applications and strengthen cooperation with institutional clients. He previously served as CEO of Arda Global, managing director of Goldman Sachs' Americas digital assets division, and worked at JPMorgan for six years, leading the development of the Quorum blockchain platform. The Kinexys blockchain payment network was launched in 2019 and processed $5 billion in transactions daily as of last December. Last November, JPMorgan began offering the deposit token JPM Coin to institutional clients, enabling the sending and receiving of funds through the Base blockchain.
