Will anyone from Trump's clan go to jail when $WLFI collapses?

Likely no. Not only because they're part of the government. But their structure is clean:

$UST was an algo stablecoin with the risk internally designed into the product (lending, liquidations, stablecoin, gov token etc).

WLFI is different because they're not running the lending.

The borrowing happens on Dolomite, a 3rd party protocol.

So when the cascading liquidations come, it's not a WLFI product failure but it's a Dolomite liquidation event.

The crash, risks and responsibilities get externalized. Not intrinsic to WLFI.

Similar damage to lenders (bad debt). WLFI bags still dump but won't go to total zero perhaps.

But no legal exposure for the team that issued the token.
