Step 1: Obtain API Key and private key

2. Generate the key pair locally (⚠️ extremely important: properly save the private key, never share it, never touch the internet!).
3. Go to 👉 [https://gmgn.ai/ai], upload the public key, and obtain your exclusive GMGN API Key. (Note: Currently only supports IPv4, does not support IPv6)

Step 2: Inject GMGN Skills into the Agent

Send the following command to your OpenClaw, Claude Code, or custom Agent:

Install GMGN skills, run: npx skills add GMGNAI/gmgn-skills

Step 3: Configure API Key and private key

Different skills require different permissions:

✅ Query type (Market/Tokens/Assets): Only need API Key
✅ Trading type (Swap): Needs API Key + private key

Let AI help you complete the final configuration, send the following command:

Create a .env file in the ~/.config/gmgn/ directory, containing the variable GMGN_API_KEY. If trading functionality is required, also add the GMGN_PRIVATE_KEY variable. Open this file for me, reminding me to paste the real GMGN API Key and locally generated private key into it and save. Note, please ensure this file is not submitted to git.
