U.S. lawmakers are scheduled to meet on Tuesday with 18 executives from the cryptocurrency industry, including Strategy Chairman Michael Saylor, to discuss how Congress can advance President Donald Trump's strategic Bitcoin reserve plan.

According to a complete list shared with Cointelegraph on Monday by the cryptocurrency advocacy organization The Digital Chambers, attendees will also include Fundstrat CEO Tom Lee (who is also the Chairman of BitMine) and MARA CEO Fred Thiel.

These industry executives are seeking to build momentum for the BITCOIN bill, which was proposed by U.S. Senator Cynthia Lummis in March and calls for the government to acquire 1 million Bitcoins (BTC) within five years.

These purchases would be funded through the Federal Reserve and the Treasury, with Trump's executive order stipulating that financing must be done through a budget-neutral strategy.

They stated that the roundtable will be hosted by The Digital Chambers and its affiliate, The Digital Power Network.

The BITCOIN bill could become the next focus for lawmakers in cryptocurrency legislation, following their efforts in July to pass the GENIUS Act stablecoin bill.

The Digital Chambers told Cointelegraph that Bitcoin industry executives will propose ideas on how the U.S. can fund these Bitcoin purchases without impacting taxpayers.

So far, proposed budget-neutral strategies include reassessing the Treasury's gold certificates and tariff revenues.

They will also seek to understand the reasons behind the stagnation of momentum for the BITCOIN bill over the past six months, as well as what the lawmakers' biggest objections to the bill are.

Several Bitcoin mining executives will also participate in the roundtable, including CleanSpark executives Matt Schultz and Margeaux Plaisted, MARA's Jayson Browder, and Bitdeer's Haris Basit.

Executives from cryptocurrency-focused venture capital firms Off the Chain Capital and Reserve One will attend, and Andrew McCormick, head of U.S. operations for the investment platform eToro, will also be present.

Representatives from traditional finance attending the roundtable will include David Fragale from Western Alliance Bank and Jay Bluestine from Blue Square Wealth.
