The Cookie DeFAI hackathon has concluded, showcasing the transformative potential of AI in financial innovation. Over 80 projects were submitted for this hackathon, covering 6 competitive verticals, with a total of 18 projects winning awards. These projects demonstrated excellence in several areas:

• Cross-chain interoperability design
• New AI applications in DeFi
• Performance optimization solutions

Unfortunately, projects with tokens were disqualified, even though these projects had more mature products and were not just at the conceptual level. It is hoped that the next Cookie DeFAI hackathon will allow for a wider variety of participants, including those with tokens.

Back to the point, the award list shows that most of the winning projects are entirely new. This article will introduce 10 interesting projects that emerged from the hackathon—starting with the disqualified projects, followed by the award-winning projects.

AlphaSwarm

AlphaSwarm is a DeFAI autonomous trading agent toolkit powered by Python, used to build LLM-driven AiFi agents. AlphaSwarm provides building blocks to quickly and efficiently create complex, autonomous financial agents. With AlphaSwarm, users can:

• Source data from multiple origins
• Develop AiFi agents using LLM-driven modular strategies and complex planning
• Integrate with DEX
• Interact with users through various channels

Edwin

Edwin is a TypeScript-driven infrastructure for AI agents to interact with DeFi protocols, supporting the creation of DeFAI agents (LP, lending, cross-chain interactions).

aiymx is the first real-time LP agent using the Edwin infrastructure.

Homo Memetus

Homo Memetus is a DeFAI ecosystem that tokenizes agent trading strategies, allowing them to compete with each other (or with humans) to identify profitable strategies (through natural selection).

The project's vision/roadmap is quite interesting, but it is still in a very early stage.

Anti-Rug Agent

Anti-Rug Agent is a comprehensive security tool for Solana that analyzes liquidity, wallets, insiders, bundles, and GitHub through RepoAnalyzer.

The AI security score of Anti-Rug Agent is one of the best tools for conducting due diligence.

BevorAI (formerly CertaiK)

BevorAI (on Virtuals) can democratize smart contract auditing at scale, allowing AI-driven audits to be completed in 30 seconds.

The team recently launched the AI Agent security score and the latest feature, LARP Analysis.

Honorable Mention Projects

JailbreakMe (with tokens)

According to the official description, JailbreakMe is the first fairly launched AI security platform where users can earn rewards by hacking AI agents. Jailbreak previously won third place in the Solana AI Hackathon.

AgentXYZ

AgentXYZ is a trading terminal with social and on-chain insights. It recently launched an AI scoring system that provides buy/sell recommendations.

Kudo

Kudo introduces a contract framework that enables complex financial use cases between agents through contract NFTs (cNFTs) (such as unsecured loans, employment agreements, etc.).

Kudo's framework allows autonomous sovereign AI agents to enter into contracts by minting NFTs that represent their commitments. It ensures the integrity of commitments through prompt verification and TEE proof. This unlocks use cases such as allowing AI agents to obtain unsecured loans and forming political alliances to achieve common goals.

Egg AI

Egg AI is a follow-trading agent with AI research, market analysis, and execution capabilities. It combines a SocialFi layer + AI DYOR and execution layer.

Two modes:

• Tren Egg (fully automated follow trading)
• Chad Egg (customizable control)

Aevia

Aevia is the first agent that helps users preserve their legacy. When a user passes away, information, cryptocurrencies, NFTs, and everything can be programmed to be passed on to the user's loved ones. The team also has an agent that regularly checks on the user's well-being.
