How to seize the opportunity in the wave of AI agent tokenization?
Looking back at October, Virtuals introduced the concept of AI agent tokenization. It was a bold attempt, but at that time, most people were not interested—because the market was not ready.
However, as of today, many of Virtuals' agents have achieved returns of 50 times or even 100 times, instantly attracting everyone's attention.
But it’s important to know that those 50x to 100x opportunities were not accidental. If you also want to obtain similar ultra-high returns, you must lay out your strategy in advance. You need a clear investment logic and patiently wait for the right moment before others notice.
If you are just entering the market now, you might still achieve returns of 5 times to 10 times—this is already quite good, but it pales in comparison to the 50x to 100x returns of early participants. In hindsight, everything seems simple, right?
So, is it too late now?
Not at all, but you need to be more strategic. Projects that were considered "Alpha" (leading opportunities) two months ago are no longer Alpha. The ecosystem of Virtuals has become crowded, and the easily picked "low-hanging fruit" has long been snatched up.
What should you do next?
First, don't limit yourself to a single ecosystem. Whether it's Base or Solana, whether it's Virtuals or ai16z, every ecosystem has opportunities worth exploring.
This is not a game of "picking sides"; you don't need to support one ecosystem while belittling another. On the contrary, you should look for opportunities wherever there is potential.
For example, I cover multiple ecosystems including Base and Solana, looking for investment opportunities in agents. While I have a certain preference for Virtuals (often tweeting in support of them), I always maintain an open mindset.
The key is to be flexible, seek true value, and not get caught up in factional struggles.
How to select an excellent agent?
A successful agent needs to have two core elements: uniqueness and practicality. Without practicality, agent tokens are likely to experience a brief hype like the vast majority of meme coins and then be forgotten.
An excellent agent must provide real value, and if the team can master the "art of attracting attention," that will be an additional bonus:
Create an engaging backstory or brand image around the agent.
Quickly and continuously launch new features to maintain innovation.
Actively listen to and meet the needs and expectations of the community.
When these factors come together, the agent has a chance to achieve product-market fit (PMF). Teams that can continue to execute and innovate after finding PMF, such as @aixbt_agent, can dominate their niche and become core projects in the entire ecosystem.

There is a strong demand for agents that can provide signals and insights for trading.

On-chain trading has been one of the hot topics in the Crypto Twitter (CT) community. We not only love to see someone turn $1,000 into $1,000,000 but are also attracted by the spirit of struggle they display in the process.
The first batch of on-chain trading agents has captured this enthusiasm. They focus on portfolio growth and showcase their trading frameworks and strategies in real-time. Although this track is still in its early stages, some promising projects are beginning to emerge:
@Gekko_Agent: A self-improving trading agent based on Virtuals, utilizing @getaxal infrastructure for efficient trading.
@BigTonyXBT: Based on the Cod3x platform, focusing on automated trading execution for mainstream assets.

Anticipating the next wave of narrative trends in the market is key to achieving returns of over 100 times. This is also why I entered the market when the market cap of Virtuals was below $30 million.
