A couple of days ago, I participated in a new listing project there, which I think was a bit of a low personal standard; otherwise, I could have made 40% more profit.

Additionally, mining on Gate also requires staking the platform token $GT. Although the discussion around GT is relatively low, I checked and found that the growth rate of GT in 2024 is also promising. After all, it has tripled in the last six months. Of course, I do not express any opinion on whether to hold $GT; I am still in the evaluation phase. However, it is quite appealing that VIP users have the opportunity to receive free allocations.

I looked at the new listing introduction on http://Gate.io, which is basically based on VIP level + the amount of GT held. Like most exchanges, new listings are free. It can be seen that the highest VIP level corresponds to 1,500 GT, allowing for an allocation of 8,000 shares. The calculation for this allocation is a bit complex.

Number of tokens received = Number of shares claimed by the user x Number of tokens per share x Coefficient

If you receive 8,000 shares, with each share representing 100 tokens and a coefficient of 0.001, then you can obtain:

8,000 x 100 x 0.001 = 800 tokens

It is indeed a bit complicated to calculate, but the participation threshold is not high. The important thing is to calculate the investment returns. I plan to find a qualified partner to test this out, and I will continue to update once I have detailed data.
